Surgical Discussion

Operative remarks:

Advantage of this technique is its minimal invasivity, less blood loss, less exposure and soft tissues stripping.Use of smooth K-wires predisposes to pin loosening and loss of reduction,so k wires are twisted and fixed with rancho cube

This technique is considered less invasive, with theoretic extensive indications, but it may not ensure anatomical reduction and early mobilization. Complications reported are pin migration and pintract infection

Orthopaedic implants used:   2 mm and 3mm k wire and rancho cubes
