Clinical Details

Clinical and radiological findings:  Female, 18 years old. Car accident. Closed fracture Radial Nerve palsy

Preoperative Plan

Planning remarks:  1. prone position 2. posterior approach 3. radial nerve release 5. butterfly fixation with suture NICE knot (3knots) 6. Fixation with pre bending lcdcp4.5 plate

Surgical Discussion

Patient positioning:  prone position

Anatomical surgical approach:  posterior approach with triceps sparing.

Operative remarks: 

in butterfly type fracture ORIF with sutures is an interesting approach and makes easy reduction. in this case I used 3 fiberwire with NICE knot
