Surgical Discussion

Operative remarks:

Closed reduction and fixation with k-wire were applied to the patient with high comorbidity.

Reduction loss was observed because the k-wires were thin (must have been threaded or thick), stable reduction could not be achieved and the wires were bent and not fixed with clamps.

I do not know the shoulder joint movements because the patient does not come to the controls regularly.i think the k wires should be thick or threaded. Fixing the wires with clamps is important for the continuity of the reduction. (lack of experience)

Orthopaedic implants used:   only k wire
