Preoperative Plan

Planning remarks:  prone position lobenhoffer approach plate ,acutrack and full groove screw

Surgical Discussion

Patient positioning:  prone

Anatomical surgical approach:  lobenhoffer and percutan

Operative remarks:

We think that full threaded screws are superior to partially threaded screws in tibial plateau fractures.Half-threaded screws may not provide adequate compression, especially in comminuted tibial plateau fractures where there is a spongios bone defect.Recently, the number of publications reporting that full threaded screws are superior in femoral neck fracture and medial malleolus fracture has been increasing, because tibial plateau fractures are more exposed to axial loading

Postoperative protocol:   Immediate joint movement with angle-adjustable knee brace

Orthopaedic implants used:   t plate, acutrack and canulluted screw
