Clinical Details

Clinical and radiological findings:  85-year-old male patient, fall

Preoperative Plan

Planning remarks:  Lateral approach temporary fixation with cerclage, then final fixation with distal femur anatomical plate

Surgical Discussion

Patient positioning:  supin

Anatomical surgical approach:  Lateral approach

Operative remarks: 

Operated without scopy because it was a container hospital(earthquake zone. that's why there's no scope image.). Roughly calculated screw and plate length before surgery

Orthopaedic implants used:   distal femur anatomical plate ,cerclage and cable
