Clinical Details

Clinical and radiological findings:  Non compliant nursing home patient following a low energy domestic fall. NV intact.

Planning remarks:  Nail to allow immediate weight bearing and mobility

Surgical Discussion

Operative remarks: 

Long spirals are difficult to control with an 8mm nail. after opening to hold reduction, decided to throw a single cerclage around it for reduction retention.
