Clinical Details

Clinical and radiological findings:  26-year-old male patient motor accident 6 months ago the patient who underwent ex fix and k wire for open tibia fracture in another hospital was sent to us.

Planning remarks: 

Surgical Discussion

Operative remarks: 

1)In the first case, ex fix was removed and follow-up was performed with a splint.

2)In the second case, iliac bone graft and plate were performed.(avasculer bone excision)

3)plate failure because the fracture nonunion

4)In the third case, the plate and avascular bone were removed and masquelet technique was planned.

5)in the fifth case bone transport(2 week later segment fracture)

6)ilizarov(Ilizarov surgery prof Dr. Made by Mehmet Colak)

Orthopaedic implants used:   4.5 plate// ex fix///cement//nail// ilizarov
