Clinical Details

Clinical and radiological findings:  83you F following a domestic fall where she sustained this AO C3 distal radius fracture

Preoperative Plan

Planning remarks:  The plan was a simple volar plate fixation. the dorsoulnar fragment can often be either indirecty or percutaneously reduced and can ge grabbed by at least one screw from the volar plate. Volar plates cant always grab everything, so provision was made for a dorsal approach and plate.

Surgical Discussion

Operative remarks:

Stubborn fragment that need to be reduced from a limited dorsal approach, and ended with a fragment specific dorsoulnar plate
